Sammy Anzer Live!
Sammy Anzer is a stand-up comedian, writer, and Pokémon master based in Denver, Colorado. Growing up in Queens, he honed his live comedic performances at JHS 157 with thought-provoking class clownery. Finding New York City to small he moves to Memphis, where he appeared where he wrote for and appeared Kevin Hart’s “You Look Like.” Now, Sammy is growing into the mixed-race comedic voice in America, and he has proven it by performing with DL Hughley, Maria Bamford, Soho Perez and Fahim Anwar. He’s sold out his home clubs, Comedyworks in Denver, QED in Queens, and you might recognize him as the cleanest comedian at Skankfest, a staple of the High Plains Comedy Festival, and “Best of The Fest” at the 10 Thousand Laughs Festival. On camera, Sammy has starred in comedic commercials for Adobe, Chipotle, and Puma. You can watch Sammy discuss fine art with his comedian friends in his web series, Comedians Talk About Art. Catch Sammy live to see why Rooster Magazine says, “Anzer's performances blend joy with contemplation. His insightful societal commentary inspires reflection while maintaining an uplifting atmosphere."
